Colter's first bath

Last night, before mom headed back home today we game Colter his first bath.
It was a full family affair.

Bridger did a great job bathing Colter. We had a few mishaps with extra water close to the eyes but he did great.
Colter loved his bath.

He was a little unsure at first but as soon as we put the warm bath cloth on him he completely relaxed. So much that there was a pee and a poop.

We had some extra soap bubbles too, by none other than Bridger! He thought for sure that we needed to get in the big bathtub and give him his bath but after explaining that Colter is just too tiny right now for the big bath he was okay with the idea of bath time in the kitchen.

It was a moment that we will treasure forever. The family of four is slowly finding their groove!

Phone photos from baby colt

We have pictures all over. From our cameras to our phones, I just don't want to forget the sweet moments we capture on all these devices. So lets get started...
Just a few hours old. It never gets old looking into these sweet eyes.
Late feedings in the hospital.
Bridge was helping the nurse with the testing for his baby brother.
Heading home from the hospital. Big brother watching over little brother.

All swaddled up.
Playing while I nursed.
First doctors appointment for baby Colter.
Getting weighed.
Doctor having a look at our sweet boy.
Bridger choose dinner. Soo exhausted
Our baby glow worm.
This is by far the sweetest moment that I have witnessed. After soccer practice Bridge asked if he could hold Colt while I finished pumping. Within 5 minutes both boys were asleep and bridge had his arms wrapped around his brother so protective.

So in love with my boys.

Family of Four

I am taking every chance I have to catch up on the blog and post, post, post.
Since mom is here we had a chance to have someone actually take the pictures versus putting the camera on the tripod and using the timer.
Daddy was dressed to nines, which made it easy to quickly throw on something, comb my hair and gather up the boys to shoot a view family pictures of the four of us.
Enjoy!

Day 1,2,3,4,5

We had many visitors come and visit Colter when we were in the hospital after the delivery.
There is no denying that he loved by many.
From the nurses to the doctors to all the extra help we had a great stay at the hospital but we were so ready to head home.

Since Colt came early we hadn't install the new carseat so when the nurse came out to watch us put the baby in the car and wish us well She noticed that the base was installed backward. We had a moment of laughter when we realized that we were slightly unprepared with the second one. She quickly turned the car seat around, re-adjusted the base and off we went. Life!

The days in the beginning have flown by, lots of pictures and loving. Colt had his first fish fry at gma and gpas and of course their was plenty of love from his cousins.

Here is a photo dump! Enjoy.
