First Airplane Ride and Mommy's Birthday

Yesterday Bridger and I left to fly to Omaha for my 27th birthday.
This was Bridger's first airplane ride and he did AMAZINGLY WELL!

He rocked it! I was one proud mommy the whole trip. There were lots of conversations with new people, the flight attendant ladies loved on him big time, he even got to meet the captain of the plane.

We were so lucky that both of our flights weren't booked so I was able to bring the car seat on the airplane and not more then 15 minutes in his car seat and a bottle later and Bridger was sound asleep.
We rode on a brand new airplane on the last leg of our trip.

It was SOOO nice. It had new seats, LED lighting, HEAT/AIR controls, more room, WIFI (amazing!!!!) The plane held 175 passangers and there were only 60 people on borad. We had the whole back half of the plane to ourself.

Today is my birthday and I have had quite a nice day.
I got my haircut on Tuesday night before I left! LOVE IT
Lots of relaxing, a little shopping with my sister and mother and some yummy lunch.

I miss my husband dearly and wish he could be here but between skype, cellphones and text message we are able to keep in constant contact and share all of these memories.

Here's to a great 27th year. Life is good!

Nat Nat's Birthday

Happy Birthday to the sweetess little girl I know!

Nat Nat turned 3 years old on Monday. I am a little behind on blogging since Ben is away on business. But we were lucky to be able to spend Sunday (after their weekend trip to McCall (so jealous):) evening enjoying pizza, cake and opening presents. Even Bridger got in on it and helped Natalie open her gifts.
We enjoyed a singing show put on by Ms. Audrey and Natalie.

Bridger played and played and played and played!
 Just helping out!
 New outfit.
I think Bridger found a new toy....thank Natalie for sharing.
 Aunt Beck loving on Bridger.
Reading the directions and excited to play.
Here's to a wonderful third year sweet girl! We love you.
On my way home from the party the moon was full and shining brightly.

first of so many

We are officially pulling up on EVERYTHING!

I am so far behind on my blogging, but now that Ben is home for some time I can quickly go off and try and get some alone time and get caught up.
My boys

As we speak the boys are rolling around on the ground and playing "boy" stuff.

Trouble right there
On Friday last week after school Bridger and I headed over to Old Navy for their sale and boy did we score, but more on that later, anyways as we were checking out the kind lady at the register asked if Bridger could have a balloon to take home? I told her that he had never had one before and that this would be his first. Love, interesting, amused, intrigued, not so sure, those were all thing that I think that maybe he was thing when she handed one to him. The picture does all the talking.
My first balloon
This past week was spent being a single parent (ben was traveling) and how I have great respect for parents who do it by themselves. Bridger stayed on schedule pretty much all week, which was a blessing.
getting into all the drawers

don't wake a sleeping baby, even if he is in his "too"small car seat

He is more "off" schedule today after daddy being back, but we would take daddy home over being alittle more difficult (aka. little to no naps today and still going strong, just ask the daycare girls)!
"I didnt' do it mommy"

new hairdo!

We spent much of our weekend hanging out together and spending time with friends, doing a little work, and playing so much!

So big!
Bath time is always a favorite.

wrinkly feet from the bath! too cute

Enjoy!
Love you big guy

Grand..........PA

Grandpa played quite the trick on Ben.

During our Christmas Eve gift exchange Grandpa gave Ben a box. It was from  . When he opened it up it was a box of Oreo's from their AMAZING Elk hunt.

Ben figured it was one of Rog's memorable gifts. It made since. Grandpa always gives gifts that remind us of the memories that we had throughout the year. So Ben didn't question it.

We continued on throughout the evening opening gifts, talking about memories and enjoying lots of laughter.

By the night's end we all had our annual Rapala's, EXCEPT Ben. He never said anything.

A few weeks went by and last weekend when we had lunch with Grandpa and Grandma they asked, "hey did you guys throw away the Oreo's we gave you? No, why? O did you open it up and have any? No. Okay, we were just wondering."

So sure enough Grandpa had one of his smiles that you know he is up to something and when we got home it was time to investigate.

Cronilogical pictures.....

Grandpa!!!! (can you hear the voice?) He got Ben good! nice job Rog!

Nose(y) week

Well it has been quite a nose(y) week around the Parsons household.

Bridge man is crawling so fast that he is skinning his nose when he doesn't catch himself with his hands.

Lots of strawberry burns on the nose. Ouchy.

But it doesn't seem to stop him.

Nose and Snow, YES PLEASE!

SNOW DAY!!! We had our first snow day here in Boise, Idaho. It didn't snow much but the roads were awful. So Bridge, Gabby and I stayed home in our PJ's all day long. Whoo Hoo!!

Poor Gabby isn't use to the snow either and her nose is all skinned up too. She was busy digging in the snow and sticking her snout in it too and now she has strawberry burns on it. Poor doggy.

What a Nose(y) week we have had!
