A mom and her boys!

We spent the morning playing in front of the lens. I didn't capture many usable pictures, but since I'm usually behind the camera and this pregnancy is going by so fast I figured it would be best to try and get a few good pics. That mission is still to be completed since my partner in crime wasn't having much of it and was more interested in taking the pictures then being in the pictures.

Bridger got a haircut yesterday and it reminded me just how much he is growing up. He is really starting to look so much older and act it too. We are still trying to figure out his plans for his birthday party. He has lots of ideas of what he wants, I just have to nail down the theme and be realistic about how much I can take on. Everyday I feel bigger and bigger and I know that this little guy is closer and closer to meeting us. Today was a reminder to slow down and enjoy these moments with my big boy. I haven't rocked him to sleep in a very long time and this afternoon I held him all the while feeling little baby P kick and roll inside. It was a magical moment and one that I hope to remember for a very long time.

Happy Valentines and much more

This is the first weekend that has actually felt like a weekend home with my boys. We have been so busy with other commitments that the days and weeks seem to fly by. Ben had a quick trip on Wednesday and Thursday last week out to Cabela's and Sports Authority and then flew home on Thursday night. For an early valentines we spent Friday evening with dinner carried out from Brick 29 and daddy surprised up with popcorn and movie (Alexander, No Good Very Bad Day). It was a great

way to relax and enjoy each other after the long and crazy week we both had.

Last Saturday I was away out to Fruitland for a mathematics class that I need in order to re-certify. I have been putting this class off for sometime due to the fact I didn't want to spend 5 days in the summer from 8-5 for an entire week. Then I found out that they would be offering a hybrid class on line with only two in person meetings out in Fruitland (one on a Saturday and one at the end of  April for a couple of hours). SCORE! I was down for that. I am taking the 4th-8th grade MTI course and to my surprise I was intrigued and thoroughly enjoyed myself. So far this class is shaping up to be worth the time and cost. Looking forward to the other modules.

So by Saturday night after the boys got home from the basketball game I noticed that I wasn't feeling myself and my tooth was starting to throb. By 11pm Saturday night I was in excruciating pain. This pain ran from the top left of my back molar tooth all the way down to the bottom teeth and up my left side of my head. I was miserable. Nothing we tried worked, the pain continued to get worse, I was on the verge of heading to the ER. This pain didn't even begin to compare to labor contractions. So much worse. I don't know how I managed but I was literally checking off the hours till my dentist opened at 7am. By 6:45am Monday morning I was in tears and close to loosing it. Thankfully, I have a wonderful dentist who saw me right away,  after a long root canal, I  can say that I feel like a million bucks today. It was pain so unbelievable that I would never want to go through it again.

Saturday morning we spent the first part putting together the dresser for the new nursery. Talk about a jigsaw puzzle. I think there must have been 100+ pieces. But daddy to the rescue he put it together and it fits perfect. We are eagerly gearing up for baby Parsons, 6 more weeks to go. Clothes are washed, crib is up, and now the waiting begins.

I am waiting for my new knobs for the dresser to come.
Bridger is extra excited for his birthday this year. He knows that by turning 3 he will finally be able to play soccer. His first game is April 4th and practices begin two weeks before. There have been alot of practice shots here at the house with daddy, although I think the game will be much different then the way those two play in the house. Hopefully less aggressive!

Bridger had his Valentines party at school with his classmates. He decided after a trip to the dollar store that we would do glow wands. They were definitely a hit from what I heard from daycare! Much better then the candy choices and after a major root canal this mama wasn't in the mood for sugary treats for sweet little kiddos.

The weather has been beautiful here and we are soaking it up with walks, bike rides (the boys), spring cleaning (or maybe that's considered nesting :) and of course a trip or two to get ice cream.

Happy Valentines Day!

29

The days are flying by and with Ben home off the trade show circuit for now I find that it reaches 8pm before I realize it and I'm completely exhausted. My birthday was Saturday and I sure felt like a princess from all my friends and family. The day was spent in the morning with good friends and a play date at the kids expo. It great to have friends that have kids around the same age as bridge and that live close by. Then it was off to get a nap in, which go figure Bridger woke up from the car ride when I pulled into the drive way and refused to go back to sleep. So why not be productive? Off to babies r us to get a new car seat and look at power wheels. We met up with gma and gap at red robin for a delicious burger and fries. I'm truly spoiled to have such great in laws so close. It was the perfect way to top off my birthday surrounded with love. Although Ben was away he was very present in all of our outings for the day! We sure miss him when he is on the road.

Turning 29 is great and reflecting on the past and all that I have accomplished, both big and small, puts a lot of things into perspective! Here's to a great year before the big 30!
