Boy and his Toys

Bridger got his first 4-wheeler from Grandpa Gary for Christmas and so we took it out this morning for a little ride around the driveway.

Boy was he grinning from ear to ear. He knew exactly what button to push and climbed right up on it.

Off he went.

There was no stopping him.

Since it snowed over night we knew it would make for a little extra fun if Bridger rode it outside.

And it did.

Knock on wood, he hasn't fallen off of it yet.

All afternoon Bridge and daddy have been riding it around the house.

Pretty gosh darn cute if you ask me.
Happy Sunday! Here are few new ornaments this year to the tree.

The Grandparents Christmas

With my family back in Omaha we didn't get to spend Christmas with them so the next best thing was to Skype while we opened gifts.

Grammy Julie got to watch Bridger open up his gifts from her.

They had lots of chatting time, and they even mangaed to pound on the computers aka: the one that Grammy got him.

Bridger was a ball of energy and was more interested in how Grandma was on the screen but he still managed to get excited about all the wrapping, boxs and tissue paper.

Friday night we skyped with my dad and Athena.

Bridger was excited too about all the candy and even wanted to try and get into all the peanut packing that came in the boxs.

Even though we didn't get to be with everyone on Christmas it sure was fun to at least Skype and see everyone.

We did spend Christmas afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Parsons where we enjoyed a few gifts from Santa, turkey, all the fixings, a little nap, and lots of play time.

We had a wondeful Christmas and are so very blessed to have such wondeful family.

Grandpa and Bri cutting the turkey.

Can't be a Christmas unless Bridger is naked through part of it.
 Merry Christmas!

100th post.... Christmas

This is my 100th post and how fitting that it happens to be for Christmas.

We woke up EARLY by Bridger boy reading for Christmas.

It was off to get a fresh new diaper and then to open up the gifts that Santa left under the tree.

Bridger got a big wooden train and lots of books this year from Santa. He loves the noise that it makes on the tile floor when we pull it.
Mommy got a new camera bag!!

Daddy got lots of cougar gear!

The beautiful house all decorated up!
We had a blessed Christmas and Bridger is our miracle. We love you big boy! Happy First Christmas.

We love you big boy! Happy First Christmas.

Twas the night before Christmas

............... and all through the house, not a creature was stiring, not even a mouse.

Well NOT exctly especially when you celebreate Christmas Eve with the Parsons crew. And that we did.

This was Bridger's first Christmas and boy did he have a great one.

The traditions continued with Oyster Stew, new from Becky was White Chicken Chili and Momma brought the hor'derves.

We started a bit earlier this year since there was a new bundle of joy to add to the mix and open a few rounds of gifts, ate dinner, opened a few more and then it was off to Christmas Eve mass with the Children's Chore.

Of course there were a few mishaps along the way that must be noted and not forgot: Lets start at the begining first thing in the morning.

While baby was down for a nap I was busy preparing all the apps to bring which included a snowman cheese ball and of course for my father-in-law (who loves spicy stuff, okay not really) I was cutting, seeding the jalapenos for the jalapeno poppers.

There were 12 that I needed to do, which meant lots of jalapeno juice spraying everywhere. Little did I know how bad my mouth and eyes were going to burn. So I took my sweatshirt and put it over my face, so that I could only out just a bit. Later as I cleaned up I put back on my sweatshirt and continued about my morning. Well after I got out of the shower I noticed through the mirror that my entire neck was flaming red. Why you may ask, well I am sure that it had to do with all the jalapenos that I was around! Luckly by the time we left to head to Grandma and Grandpa's it had calmed down.

Next on the list of mishaps:
  • As I put Bridger into the highchair I pinched his finger right before dinner was to start. Ouchy

  • Bridger pee'd through his diaper and new outfit onto my dress right before it was time to go to church. So Bridger ended up wearing his Christmas jammies to church.

  • At church Bridger gave me a nice bloody nose after managing a few finger swipes up my nose. don't as how!!

  • Grandma got a lovly paci swipe at mass too!

After a beautiful mass and seeing a dear friend (Mrs. Lora Bushee) we headed back home to finish the last of the gifts.

This year Ben wanted to get everyone a very unique gift that they would be able to use the next time we all go camping, so it was child size camo hat with LED lights inside.

Lets just say it was very funny watching everyone put them on and question why they were a bit too small. We found out later that Ben grabbed the wrong sizes. Whoops!

Bridger and his cousins had a great time, unwrapping gifts, playing with their new toys and there was lots of excitment over Grandpa's tin cans!
