Happy Halloween

What a day it was. Costumes on at 7am.

Treats galore. And students and baby more excited then one can describe.

Teachers turned out in fantastic super hero outfits.

Parents were happy. And the baby was a trooper through it all.

We got home tonight and by the time the sun went down and spaghetti O's were in Bridges tummy he kissed us goodnight and lights were out by 7pm. Looks like we will wait to trick or treat till next year.

Happy Halloween sweet boy! We love you. Xoxo mommy and daddy.

We couldn't resist a little train building action tonight when we got home!

Boys will be boys

While mommy was having her girl day, daddy took Bridge to Grandma and Grandpa's for the afternoon. From all accounts it sounds like Bridger "helped' grandma make cookies and even sneaked a few extra ones into his mount.

Grandpa was out hunting for a deer so no sighting of Grandpa yesterday, but today while I was home working on grad stuff I received word that Grandpa pulled in to the drive way and ......... got a deer!!!!  Just got this picture message. In no time I see this little boy out with his daddy and Grandpa getting his own deer. Way to go Grandpa.

Girls just wanna have fun!

Are you dancing to that beat right now? Cause yesterday we were and boy did we have fun!

Creativity was flowing, mimosa were being poured and the girl chatter was heavy.

In the end we created some great costumes, some that still need a few more things done  and some that are ridiculous and over the top.

All in all we had a great girl day.

We even managed to have a guest appearance by non other then Mr. Bridger Parsons, and much to daddy's surprise when he came back from the room was his son getting in the action with all the girls and their tutu's and dancing!!!

Fall happenings

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. Which means copying up on the couch together wrapped in blankets and enjoying each other. Bridger is loving his new play room that daddy finished this weekend, we hung around the house pretty much all weekend. We got our pumpkins from the seniors at Nampa High for their project graduation fundraiser, it was fun running into some of the families of students I have had there.

Side note my dad and brother got back from South Dakota this weekend and we had a chance to talk to both yesterday about their hunting trip. I would say they did pretty good. Daddy went out on Saturday scoping out good places to duck hunt. I think he is getting his itch back for hunting now that we live so close to the lake.

We are still so busy with our work and school life, it just about consumes our days. Bridger is doing fantastic in swimming and loving it more and more each week. I go back to the quote that Dr. Christensen said when we found out we were having a boy, " he's all boy" and that's the truth. He loves to wrestle daddy, loves to throw balls even if I tell him not to do it in Pier One ( little stinker, poor girls at the store probably thought I was crazy). He is learning all about animal sounds and if you ask he will tell you, his favorites this past weekend were kitty...meow, duck....quack quack! Of course you can't take the dancing out of our little guy he is still bouncing to his own beat whenever he hears music!

I'm having my first girls gathering at the new house! Very excited about having everyone over, we are having a harvest pot luck of sorts and will be busy creating our costumes for school next week!!!! Stay tune to see the final creations! And just wait till you see Bridge this year!
