Fall weekends

I think each weekend in October we have been on the go.

This weekend was no exception. Before we headed out of town early Friday I was busy with parent teacher conferences Wednesday and Thursday until 8pm.

Pure exhaustion! But I had no choice but to rally for the weekend that I had committed to a few months ago.

Off to Tamarack with the LB crew for a huge photoshoot that I was hired for.

Bridger couldn't have been more excited to have so many playmates all weekend. With a total of 16 kids ranging in age from 2-17 we had a little freedom and had a very tired boy each night.

Saturday I was up before sunrise to get ready for the big day. Where we stay was stunning and made for such a beautiful backdrop. In addition we shot all over town and the photos that we got with the beautiful Tamarack trees turning yellow, the fog rolling in and all the fall colors from the trees made for a long, busy but very successful day! Our little boy stole the show when his fur hunters hat and his cowboy boots. He wanted to be just like the big boys!

After a long two days, two exhausted parents and one tired boy we headed home after dinner in time to crawl in our bed. Today was spent in pjs, making sub plans for tomorrow ( I need a day to recover, I can feel exhaustion and sickness setting in) and a little boy completely wiped out who feel asleep at 4:30pm today.

Although we enjoy eventful weekends I can truly say that this month has been way too busy and I am looking forward to a much needed break.

One beautiful Fall Wedding!

We had the joy to celebrate Steven and Julie last night at their wedding. It was a perfect fall wedding other than the wind storm that rolled in an hour after the ceremony and all the men scrambled to put up the tent walls and help out where they could!

Julie was a gorgeous bride! Her dress was stunning and their ceremony was perfect! Here are some pictures from the evening last night!

Enjoy!

Saturday activities

This we were busy catching some little kids sports! First stop.... My fourth grade boys football game! Daniel and Rylan in particular were the ones to invite me. Of course this has set off an explosion of weekend events that all the kids want me to attend! So sweet of them.

Next it was off to the other side of town to watch our growing niece Audrey play soccer.  In the mix we ran into another friend and student playing at the soccer field next to hers so we were able to catch Cooper too! After six long weeks of not seeing grandpa we spent lunch with them catching up and laughing!

And finally we wrapped up Sunday with fresh hair cuts for the boys. My baby boy no longer had his long curls. Such a bitter sweet time.
