Naps, Naps, Naps.
It was a quiet weekend and a much needed one at that.
I finished my book. A GREAT read and a quick one at that.
We did start the process of moving into my new classroom on Saturday but that was the only major thing we did.
Today we woke up from naps after Auntie B and Uncle Dan and their friends stopped by. To bad Bridger and I were napping but daddy had a chance to meet our new neighbors and catch up with Auntie B.
It was off to the lake for a few ours of paddle boarding and sandcastle making. Along with rock skipping. The weather was great. We paddled over to a little cove were it wasn't nearly as busy as our normal place, but no pictures to show since we didn't want to risk the loss of falling over and loosing our camera and other possessions.
One of guys that we were next to us at the start of journey caught a huge catfish. Bridger was mesmerized by it. Of course we had to get a few pictures of it so we could talk about it when we got home tonight.
Here's to a new week, a little swimming at the pool (it's OPEN), a little library action and a little work of course.
My little chef.
He loves to help me cook.
I am fully aware that you all probably think I am nuts putting him up on the counter but trust me Ben was right there watching his every move.
The local gas station has beer on tap so we tried out two different kinds this week. The one was a mac and jack. The other one was a ginger and lemon beer. Both were really great. And of course my beautiful orchid that I have kept alive for three weeks now! That's a first when it comes to house plants.
