Getting into the groove

We are starting to get into a groove for the summer.

Going from working full time to stay - at - home mom this has been quite a transition for me and Bridger both.
But this week we have found our flow.

Monday we both went to school. Mommy to work on curriculum and lessons for the new year and Bridger to daycare for his one day a week during the summer and tell all his friends and teachers that he is potty trained. We are officially potty trained through the night too. I'm sure there will be accidents but non yet to date. No more diapers or pull ups!

Tuesday it was off to the Racquet Club for an afternoon full of swimming. Great pool not a lot of people but still trying to figure out what pass is best for us. We loved Roaring Springs last year and although the Raquet Club's pool is nice and quite that don't have a shallow end for him to walk around in. So essentially it is me holding him the entire time. Same price, but different length in travel. We are still deciding which one to go with for the season pass.

We are spontaneous to say the least. Who can resist running through the sprinklers.

Today we went to our local library. Participated in the preschool read aloud time and enjoyed a fun STEM experiment. Bridger also signed up for his reading calendar for the summer and I we both got new books (Lean In for me!). Next it was off to Flying M for a little son and mother coffee date and then onto nap time. Daddy got home and we ate a yummy new meal then it was off for daily evening walk only this time Bridger had something special to use on the golf course. His very own little boy golf clubs. Such a hit. There is no sport that that our boy can't play. Hit a ball....of course, no matter if it is golf, tennis, baseball basketball, football. You name it he can either hit it or throw it.

We are eagerly awaiting the opening of the golf course. Ben and I are looking forward to having some date nights on the links and Auntie B watching Bridger. I am no avid golfer but I figure I better learn how. We are sure enjoying our summer evenings out back.

The rest of this week is shaping up to be pretty low key although father's day is coming up and we are looking forward to treating day extra special on Sunday!

Have a great rest of the week.
