He did it! Colt rolled over

On Wednesday our Colter Ray rolled over from back to tummy all by himself.
He was inching towards this goal for quite sometime and finally it happened.
It was first thing in the morning while I was preparing breakfast and coffee when I laid him down on his playmate and the next thing you know he just rolled  right over.

He loves it! But hates being on his tummy for too long.
He will tell you when he's had enough.

There is no price that I would put on the time that I have had with my boys since being on maternity leave. The months and weeks have flown by and yet I am so so grateful that this time around I got to be home for 5 months when I return to work in August. The USA needs to get its act together and support our mama's out there. 6 weeks is ridiculous and 5 months still doesn't seem like long enough, but I will take it!

To be home every minute of the day with my boys has been the best days of my life. I have watch Colter go from a teeny tiny baby having to be spoon fed to a chubby, happy, talkative little baby who coos and laughs. Bridger is growing leaps and bounds each and everyday and I am quickly reminded how the world around us can have such a huge effect on such a little guy.

I write this post with a flood of emotions and I don't often talk too much about them on these post but the other day I was moving the newborn clothes over to the other side of the closet and I stopped partial way through and silently cried for a moment. I am over come with emotion when I think about the two blessings that god gave us. Our little family is complete and I can't hope and dream what the future holds for our little boys but I know God is good and they will forever be each other's brother.
