such a champ

Bridger boy is back at daycare today, probably only up to a 70% on completely recovered scale from his bout with an URI (upper respiratory infection) but he is a champ and was ready to get back to see all of his friends and teachers.

Daddy and Bridge both came down with the sickness starting Saturday morning (the day of his birthday and birthday party). I was a little nervous since last week there were 4 kids in his class out with RSV, so I took my chances and decided to continue on with his party. He played hard and was so happy, and in the end I knew I made the right decision. Although, the back of my mind I was really dreading the thought of him getting sick AGAIN! It seems like every other week we have been battling some sort of illness. Daddy was able to take both Monday and Tuesday off to be home since the trimester is ending on Friday for me, and since I took the last week off for his stomach bug. Poor fellow.

I am so ready for spring.

We have continued on with the celebration of Bridger's birthday all week. From singing to him happy birthday every night when I rock him to sleep or to him welcoming his new cousin Kallan in this world a day after his birthday. Auntie K.K. had her little girl on Sunday night, weighing 8lbs 10 oz. She is beautiful.

He received his very first cougar camping chair from the Goode's today. I can only imagine all the cougar stuff we will be buying him as the years go on. But seriously how cute is he?

Here he is tearing into a few gifts that our co-workers were so kind to get him. He thinks that the popping elephant is a walker....to funny!

Bridger and mommy have his 1 year doctor appointment on Friday, I am loaded with questions about the transition from formula to whole milk, coming up with a sleep plan since Bridger's sleep pattern and habits have been so out of whack since he has been sick and of course all the question dealing with a 1 year old.

This has truly been the most blessed year for both Ben and I and I can't wait to see what is in store for us as we continue to watch our little man grow and discover the world around him.
