Happy 1st Birthday Bridger!

What a day Saturday was! Our boy turned 1.

And talk about proud parents, Ben and I were grinning from ear to ear.

We survived the first year and would GLADLY do it all over again.

Bridger was surrounded by grandparents on both mommy and daddy's side, aunt Becky and uncle Bill and cousins Audrey and Natalie and lots of friends who love him so much.

We are so lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives who care and love Bridger.

The party was so much fun. We had LOTS of food, great company a few photo props and lots of laughter and fun.

Bridger was such a fantastic host and loved on each person who came to spend the day with him.

When it was time to open presents he had a blast playing with the bags and bows and a few times forgot to look inside. O well! He's easy to please, right!

Next it was cake time.

We sang "Happy Birthday." Mommy helped blow out the candle and then it was time to SMASH into the cake.

At first he was quite sure why all the eyes were on him, after a little bit of cheer we were able to get him to dig in and smash the cake all around. I'm not sure how much he actually ate, but he sure looked cute after he was finished.

I ran to the bathroom to give him a quick bath so that the blue frosting wouldn't stain him and thank goodness we got it off in time.

Bridger had a great "little man's" first birthday party and we are so happy to call him our son!

We love you big boy!
