a 1 year old's perspective

This last week we have enjoyed watching our boy turn one and grow more and more.

Friday was a furlough day for me, so Bridger and I headed to the doctors for his 1 year appointment. Which included 4 shoots, a script, lots of jabbering to the doctor and even a sticker for his toughness. He is 23.5lbs (50% percentile) and 31.5 inches long (71st % percentile).

In the evening it was off to the grandparents for our weekly fish fry. We met up with the cousins and enjoyed some adult conversation. It was pretty exciting to sit on the couch and chat away with Becky and then suddenly realize that all three cousins were in the corner down by toys playing so great with one another. It's hard to imagine that our boy is at that age and able to interact with his peers.

The weather is becoming nicer and nicer and the weatherman said that we could even reach high 60's and possible 70's this week. So ready for spring. Bridger and I played in the yard today while we waited patiently for daddy to get home. O how he had fun. We have only been able to ride his four wheeler in the house since the weather has been so cold, so to be able to ride it out in the grass was a a hit.
o and of course what's cooler then wearing paw paws hat out to dinner on Bridger's birthday.
We are eagerly waiting for Spring Break 2013 to get here. Count down....T-7 school days.
