Flamingo

Today Bridger came him with his first art project from the 2's class.

He was so excited to share with my his Flamingo and tell me all about his coloring and how the flamingo has "circle eyes."

Lately I have had some moments where I look at him and realize he is no longer a baby he  is a toddler and I'm pretty sure I'm not quite ready for it. Each stage of raising a child has proven to be one for the books and with that they have their pro's and con's. I enjoy my sleep but I miss terribly the long nights of rocking in the rocking chair and gazing into his eyes. The smell of a new baby, the sounds they make. Tonight when Bridge got ready for bed  I tried rocking him and he insisted to "lay in bed mommy." Everyday I feel like the luckiest mommy in the world, God has given us a beautiful baby boy and each day is so amazing to watch and experience through his eyes.
