28 things considered

Ha!

No I am not going to list who I am at age 28 however, it was fun to write that title. I might be a little premature in writing this post since my birthday isn't technically till Friday but since my hubby and boy have treated me to a weekend of bliss I am in the birthday celebration mode.

Friday night started out with Benjamin arrive home from another week of traveling. We miss him. Plain and simple. No fluff about it. It's tough, lonely and at times WAY TO QUITE. Isn't that hard to believe when I have a 22 month old. But its the facts.

I was treated like a princess all weekend and we had so much fun last night. First up..... Sushi dinner. When Bridge and I woke from our nap yesterday afternoon, I was told, "go get ready we are taking you out." And that we did! A little dinner and of course to wrap the night we headed out to watch some college basketball at NNU. Perfect night just the three of us.

Grad school has started back up. So while I worked on school work this morning the boys joined Grandpa and Grandma. I am eagerly awaiting their arrival as I type this. It is going to be a challenging semester from what this week's topics were about, not challenging in that I don't understand but challenging in my own personal beliefs and core values as a professional. I think that I will grow alot in the courses that I am taking and I believe that my professional career will greatly benefit from them as well.

Next week is shaping up to be quite a busy week for all of us. Bridger is busy learning about animals and there sounds and movements so we are thrilled to watch him every night come home and show us his new dances. Recently he loves to "trick us" meaning he loves to hide when it is time to go. Which might I add makes mommy late sometimes in the morning when we are hustling around trying to get to school. Silly boy.

Happy birthday to my god-daughter Ms. Natalie. We love you and are so excited to watch you grow as a four year old this year. xoxo.
