Rosenblatt

Next to the zoo use to be Rosenblatt Stadium and before the new Century link Stadium was built that is where the College World Series was held every year for as long as I was born.

Two years ago they built the new stadium and this past year they demolished Rosenblatt. Sad day. So when we pulled into the parking lot for the zoo I noticed that they still had the old Rosenblatt sign that use to hang when the stadium was still there, and now they have a little memorial area where they have the bases, old seats from the stadium, and the sign.

I was so glad that they keep some of this and build a memorial around the parking lot.

Bridger got to run the bases, stand on home plate and sit on the pitchers mound. Such memories to have.
