vacation part1... 18 hours

We made it to Omaha! It was a 18 hour drive and we divided it up into two days. Bridger was a trooper and with a 15 month old that's all you can ask for.

We stopped in Cheyenne, Wyoming the first night (which was right at 10 hours). Thank you B&B for letting us borrow your dvd player. The only movie Bridger wanted to watch OVER AND OVER again for Madagascar. But it saved us. Since he doesn't get to watch tv at home he loved to see the talking animals pop right out of the screen as though they were talking to him.

We got to Omaha around 8pm on Thursday night. Lots of family had already arrived and started bbq so we hopped right into our chair and started chowing down with them. The drive to Omaha was uneventful, not a lot of traffic and again Bridger did great. The only time we stopped was for gas and so the drive to Omaha was about 8 hours. Ben had meeting in the morning with Sierra Trading Post so we left Cheyenne around noon.
Duster and Bridger loved right on each other. They are pals and he is the first person that Bridger runs to when Dustin comes through the door way. Best Buds.
