Mother's Day with two babies!

This mother's day was extra special since Colter Ray came into the world.
Being a mother to two boys is pretty amazing. These boys melt my heart in so many ways.
Although it is difficult and some days are really hard, I wouldn't change it. I knew I had the power to love another child but I didn't realize just how much my heart could hold.
It came natural, as if he was here the entire time our family has been together.
We spent the morning baking a strawberry cake, after our Friday together was making homemade strawberry jam.

It's amazing when you do your own canning/jam how much sugar they put into stuff, no wonder its not healthy!
Anyways it turned out great for my first try at it. Bridger helped and Colter was in the baby carrier the whole time.

In the afternoon we headed to gma and gpas for lunch. Bridger devoured grandpa's burgers and I was quickly reminded how we are on Colter Ray's time. Therefore I excused myself to nurse him the entire time they had lunch. O well! It was waiting for me when Grandpa took him after he finish and it was delicious.

Being a mother to these two amazing little boys is the greatest gift I have ever received. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for allowing me to be a mother. I have learned how to be patient, slow down and try and take in the world around me (easier said then done) through the little eyes of my boy! The smiles and laughter that both boys exude melts my heart every day.

I'm grateful to my husband for going through this journey with me and raising these two little guys. He leads by example and for that I am so happy they get to have such a wonderful dad to look up to. My boys spoiled me with love and not just on mother's day but everyday! Love you all.
xoxo
Mommy.
