Can he do it?

On Monday I got a phone call from the rec center saying that they had to cancel the preschool 1 class since only Bridge signed up. I was a little disappointed since we had this planned for two months and I switch his day care to three days a week in May to acommadte lessons and time with mommy. I asked the director if it was possible if we could join the next level up.

He called me back Tuesday morning and said, "we can certainly see how he does and if he can't then we will sign you up next month for the class." I called Ben and told him. We got to lessons and sure enough it was director of the rec that was actually his teacher and would be giving the lessons. He was very friendly right way and welcomed bridge right away. The whole time daddy and I texted back and forth about the different drills that the director was putting him through to seeif he could do what the other two kids were doing. At first it was a nail biter. bridge didn't want to go under water right away. Within five minutes of watching the other kiddos in his class he was starting to get back in His element. I was so relieved. There were definitly things that he excelled at and things that he will work on but by the end of the lesson the director spoke with me and said, "within the first lesson he has already showed tremendous growth so there is no doubt that he will catch up within the next few lessons. So Imasked him, "then is it a go?" And he said YES! Talk about pressure. Daddy was on the edge of his seat waiting to hear, he was very excited when we told him that Bridge would be able to join pre2.

What a fun afternoon we had! After lessons it was a little basketball before we loaded up in the car. By the time we got home Bridge climbed into the rocker and I went to put colt down and came back and bridge was passed out asleep.

Daddy came home and suggested we go check out Vogel Farms. It was a fun time. We got the grand tour by the cute little old lady. We picked up a few tomato and pepper starts and walked through the differnt shops. All the while hearing about the farm. I could go on and on but by the time we left we left with 8 plants, cheese curds, and a gallon of raw milk. What you say, raw milk, well she talked so highly of it and while we were getting the tour two ladies came in to the shop to pick up their order and hauled off with the farm fresh eggs and raw milk. We would be giving any to bridge but daddy and I sure want to try it. I will let you know how it is later. If you have a chance to check it out and don't forget to get a grand tour! Very informational and such a nice lady, o and to have a ton of Huckleberry items!!! All local!
O how I wish he would take a pacifier! This was a good try but again no luck, he just spits them right out.
