Fish frys

So much to catch up on.
Okay here we go..... Our Friday nights are booked with the annual Parsons fish frys p, where laughter ensues, too many chips are ate, so comical jokes are passed around and of course basketball is on.
Bring on March Maddness!

This last fry was one Ben and I were reminded that parenting is a never ending learning process. While the kids were busy playing after dinner outside the adults were inside chatting away and every so often the kids would come in fill up their tubberwear bowls full of chips. No sooner did we get home and around 10:45pm let the vomiting begin with Bridger. No doubt he prefers chips over a well balanced meal, who doesn't, but mommy certainly wasn't watching the intake of chips (keep in mind they were mostly salt and vinegar chips) and so our Friday night was filled full of vomit, laundry, running out of extra bed sheets, more vomiting, baths and more vomiting till 2am.

Of course the next morning my laundry pile went from two to 6-8 loads. Ugh! I hate laundry but he was much better, back to normal. Lesson learned!

We spent much of the weekend hanging around the house, we had big hopes of spring yard cleaning but it rained. Sunday we headed over to the Bostroms for smoke drives, asparagus, potato salad and cherry dump dessert! Delicious. All the while the kiddos played and the adults catches up.

We headed to bed and wouldn't you know around 11pm Bridger spiked a fever. Why is it that they always get sick at night. So I went into work till11:30 and daddy stay home in the morning. He seems a little better. We are hoping for a good night and back to the normal schedule.

Here's to a good week and spring break next week!
