First soccer practice

Today was the day that Bridger has been waiting for for months.
Today was his first soccer practice.

We signed up back in January and have been talking about this day for a very long time.
All morning he kept asking, "is it time for soccer practice yet mom?"

By 1:30 we were dressed, practicing our kicks in the back yard and rip raring to go.
We loaded up the car, Gaga and baby Colt hung out in the truck while I watched his practice from the grass.

There are four kiddos on his team. Bridger is the youngest, but that doesn't hinder his ability. The two girls were very much into watching the butterflies (so to speak) and Bridger and Jackson went after the ball all throughout practice.

I was so proud of our big boy. He introduced himself just like we practice, listen very well and followed the directions of everything his coach asked for. She made it fun and exciting for the kids. Of course Bridger did not want practice to end after 30 minutes but to keep the attention span of all four kids for 30 minutes is definitely a difficult task.

They played a game called shark. Each kiddo took turns being the shark. They had to kick the ball away from the other kids in the circle. Bridger had his turn and as dad would say "dominated!"

We are so excited for next Saturday's game! Go Bridge GO!
