6 months and the sickness

My boy is 6 months old!
And we both got the sickness going around. No fun.

But we made the most of our three day weekend with lots of cuddling, rocking, a pajama party and a few pictures to capture the moments mixed in with football.

When college football starts I know my favorite season is on it's way. I LOVE FALL!!! Nothing better then football, yummy recipes to make and eat, leaves changing colors, crisp cool in the air and of course fall fashion.

Cougs lost, BSU lost but my Huskers won!
We went to Big ALs this weekend to watch the game.
What a place. I've never been to anything quite like it.

Bridge and I are starting to feel better our sickness peeked yesterday and I was pretty sure that i was going to have to take Tuesday off but he seems like he is feeling a little better so we will see. As I am typing this he is asleep on my left arm. Poor guy just wants to be held.

At daycare and school it was "wear your college game day colors" Friday, so we rocked bsu colors but lets just say daddy was not impressed.

Looks like a baby coug onesie needs to be ordered so daddy will be happy!

Bridge is doing great at daycare. He is trying new foods, making new friends and is even sitting unassisted for a few seconds on his own. So close. We have our 6 month doctors appointment this week and I will be curious to see his growth.

We are still battling the skin irritation problem.

The biggest flare happens when he eats baby food in a jar. Grandma thought maybe it has something to do with the preservatives. I didn't give him any jar food this weekend and his skin is getting back to normal. I did however on Friday give him a bath with Johnson and Johnson Lavender bath wash and you can see from the pictures that clearly something irritated it. We will have a lot to chat about with the doctor at this appointment.

Along with all the changes in Bridges diet, I have to note that after I slowly whined him from the breast to only morning and night my supply dropped enormously. I am sad to say that as of Saturday I could barley even pump an ounce. I am going to miss this time with him but I am proud of myself that I made it six months.

Enjoy the six month photos I took.

PJ PARTY!!! HAPPY 6 MONTHS BABY BOY WE LOVE YOU !
