The wheels on the bus....

We are busy around here.

My family starts flying into town on Thursday. We are thrilled, can't wait, long overdue and a much needed break.

Of course I haven't let myself get there yet since I still have parent teacher conferences both Wednesday night an all day Thursday 8am-8pm. Ugh! But that means one thing this year. We have a full week off for Thanksgiving and it will be party time!!! Just kidding, I mean maybe sleep in time since Grandma will be here :) teehee!

Our boy is down for the count. I knew he was getting something on Saturday when he woke up at 3am extremely hot and started to get the shivers. Poor boy. So I called the on call nurse when through a list of things around 8am and was told to let it run its course and if it gets worse come in. Sunday was better he seemed much better but not at 100% no fever but still a little sloughish. Daddy thought that he was fine this morning when I was getting ready and he was excited to see Ms. Rhea so off to school we went, no fever and one happy boy. Then.................. the school phone rang........................ right at 3:30, full blown screaming, 102 temp and a sad sad boy pulling hard on his ears. Off I went running out the school doors, yelling behind me that I probably won't be at school tomorrow and to get me a sub. I pick him up at daycare rushed him over to PrimaryCare and sure enough...... second degree ear infection, fever and one sad boy. So no school for this mama tomorrow and one boy who is fast asleep since 6pm tonight.

Just a few things to quickly jot down before I forget. We had snow this weekend in the foothills and some parts of Boise. Us though, no snow just rain and one gorgeous view! Also last night was a amazing full moon! So bright and beautiful.

Bridger's basketball hoop came and between being sick we are busy chasing after him and the ball all the time. Grandpa came over on Saturday to duck hunt and watch Bridger play basketball, he will tell that Bridge can pass the ball and even make the baskets! So cute.

Bridger is speaking in sentences and today he told me that Ms. Rhea read a book to him. I am pretty excited watching his vocabulary grow. He pointed to my shirt on Saturday and I had VW van on it, he said, "circle, circle, circle." The van's headlights are circles alone with the wheels on the van. So smart.

Between school, work and life we don't seem to have time for much more. Looking forward to a much need long break and special time with my family! Have a great week.
