happy fall y'all

We are enjoying are fall weekends watching lots of football, playing around outside, a little fall decorating and enjoying each other. Our weeks are packed full and the weekends always seems to short but we sure are enjoying this beautiful fall weather we have been having and soaking it all up.

Bridger is busy running around playing with his car up and down the drive way while we pull weeds, we met a few more neighbors and wrapped up the night with a swimming trip to the bath tub. He is loving the water and even testing mommy when he slips under water to see my reaction... little turkey!

Today we picked up our girl, Gabby, ashes today. Tough. No words. It just plan hurts. Just when you think you are strong enough to talk about her again and share all the memories it stops me in my tracks and rips my heart open again to all the emotion. I don't think I will ever be able to explain just how much she meant to our family. She touched our life and many others lives in more ways then one. She had a personality like no other and it just hurts. I can't thank the vet for going the extra mile to comfort us and show their dedication to the animals and their families. When I went there this afternoon I knew I was picking up her ashes, but I had no idea that they made a special Christmas ornament of Gabby's paw print. Tear jerking but so thankful for this. Of course when I got home and showed Ben he mentioned right away if I saw her toenail print, I didn't. but that's our girl always leaving a subtle mark where ever she went. We love you sweet girl, and we miss you everyday. We talk about you to Bridger and you will forever be in our hearts. We miss you and love you forever and always. xoxo.
