He has got to seven so far, granite he mimics what I say but he is starting to understand what it means when mommy counts. If you listen closely he will continue on; I will say 1, he will say 2, but after that he repeats. Such a proud mommy!
I had a chance to catch up with his daycare teacher on Friday. Since he goes to "school" from 9-3 with her I don't often see her in the afternoon. She mentioned that he is very vocal and loves to help clean, use his napkin, lead in prayer during lunch and knows his routine in-and-out and is always ready for nap time at 1pm. She said that sometimes he is so tired he can barley even make it to the nursery door before he about falls asleep. Sweet boy.
She mention.....hold your breath.....that he is telling her every time he has pooped, which she says is a sign that he is taking noticed of his behavior and would soon be ready to start potty training. Don't get me wrong I'm excited for this but I almost gasp a bit because that is just another sign at how fast time is flying. I may try during Christmas break since we have about two weeks full time together, although I don't have any expectations just want to see how he does. It should be fun!
(3 months away till Christmas, thought I would post a pic from last year - time sure flys!)
