The day started off with costume #1: Skeleton. He was one cute little skeleton. He wore this outfit to daycare for their little party.
Then it was off to mommy's school for the whole school parade.
He changed into costume #2: baby giraffe.
My students were so excited to meet Bridger and he was all smiles!
Great memories were made.
Thanks to my dear friend Le for helping with Bridger, I couldn't have done it without you!
Between managing a class of 24 6 year olds, their parents and a Halloween party it was necessary for Bridger to have his partner in crime to assist with everything that was going on!
We found out in the morning before the party that my class won the Can-O-Lantern can food drive from the radio station.
Lots of happy kids!!!
I am so proud of them and their determination to give back to the community. Way to go room 2 :)
Next it was off to daddy's work to show off the baby giraffe. Daddy said Bridge slept the whole way there. No surprise he didn't get his afternoon nap and a BIG parade will do a number on our little guy! Daddy said Bridger was pretty out of it, but was relaxed enough to let everyone hold him and OOOO and AWWW over his cute outfit.
Following daddy's work it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Parsons house to hang out for the evening.
While there the cousins stopped by to show off their costumes and play alittle bit before it was time for them to go trick or treating.
Bridger showed Grandma his "almost" crawl moves and got into all sorts of stuff under Grandma's TV!!!
Last it was time to head home and do a little passing out of candy at our house! I wasn't quite sure if Bridger was going to stay awake for this part, but this part turned out to be hilarious to watch.
Every time the door bell rang, he would run with his walker to the front door. When daddy opened the door Bridger would scream and get really excited to see all the kids.
Once daddy was finished giving the kids candy he would shut the door and immediately following that Bridger would scream and start crying because he wanted the kids to come back and daddy to open the door.
This went on the entire night. Grammy (in Omaha) got to watch the whole thing on Skype!!!
Wish she was closer but at least she got to witness Bridger's first Halloween!!!
We are one exhausted family but we are so blessed to experience Halloween through Bridger's eyes this year! Happy Halloween everyone.
