First Soccer Game! and Easter egg dying

Today was the big day we have all been waiting for.
Our Bridger boy had his first soccer game.
9:00am came we hustled (literally to field), I forgot how long it takes to get out of the house with a newborn and we all were excited to watch him play.
Grandma and Grandpa were there and Bill and Becky and the girls were there as well to all cheer him on. He was so excited to see everyone there and was thrilled that they would be watching him.

The game started and Bridge was out on the field and he took off.
A lot of running around chasing the ball, a few falls and then he brushed them off and off he went.
He kicked the ball around, made a goal (but in the wrong net) but he was excited!!!
Daddy was nervous as all get out. This was his boy's first game and he just couldn't wait to watch him. Daddy said he was like a bowl in a china shop. A little aggressive!

Man he was excited to play and when they had him sit out so they could substitute the other players on the team he was not too happy. He wanted to play the entire time. After we gave him some water and told him to hustle back out he was ready to rock and role.

Towards the end of the game Audrey and Nat came and got me to tell me the Colt was crying in the stroller. Sure enough the other baby boy needed his mommy and that meant it was time to feed him. I didn't come quite prepared with a nursing tank top nor my nursing shield so my sister-in-law was my savor and stood in front of me, grabbed some blankets and off we went nursing on the soccer field. O the joys of motherhood.

It was a great morning, lots of new memories and Bridger was such a great soccer star! We look forward to many more Saturday's out on the field.

After soccer we headed home for some Easter egg dying.
Bridger has been waiting all week to do this.

We have never done this with him so I wasn't so sure how this would work but he is at the perfect age where he can listen and follow directions pretty well.

Daddy boiled the eggs, I nursed Colter and Bridger sat at the table and dyed each egg as daddy dried them off.
There were a few broken ones from dunking them into the water too hard! But he did a great job.
We are excited for the Easter bunny to come tomorrow and hide all the eggs! Should be a fun time.
