way to relax and enjoy each other after the long and crazy week we both had.
Last Saturday I was away out to Fruitland for a mathematics class that I need in order to re-certify. I have been putting this class off for sometime due to the fact I didn't want to spend 5 days in the summer from 8-5 for an entire week. Then I found out that they would be offering a hybrid class on line with only two in person meetings out in Fruitland (one on a Saturday and one at the end of April for a couple of hours). SCORE! I was down for that. I am taking the 4th-8th grade MTI course and to my surprise I was intrigued and thoroughly enjoyed myself. So far this class is shaping up to be worth the time and cost. Looking forward to the other modules.
So by Saturday night after the boys got home from the basketball game I noticed that I wasn't feeling myself and my tooth was starting to throb. By 11pm Saturday night I was in excruciating pain. This pain ran from the top left of my back molar tooth all the way down to the bottom teeth and up my left side of my head. I was miserable. Nothing we tried worked, the pain continued to get worse, I was on the verge of heading to the ER. This pain didn't even begin to compare to labor contractions. So much worse. I don't know how I managed but I was literally checking off the hours till my dentist opened at 7am. By 6:45am Monday morning I was in tears and close to loosing it. Thankfully, I have a wonderful dentist who saw me right away, after a long root canal, I can say that I feel like a million bucks today. It was pain so unbelievable that I would never want to go through it again.
Saturday morning we spent the first part putting together the dresser for the new nursery. Talk about a jigsaw puzzle. I think there must have been 100+ pieces. But daddy to the rescue he put it together and it fits perfect. We are eagerly gearing up for baby Parsons, 6 more weeks to go. Clothes are washed, crib is up, and now the waiting begins.
I am waiting for my new knobs for the dresser to come. |
Bridger had his Valentines party at school with his classmates. He decided after a trip to the dollar store that we would do glow wands. They were definitely a hit from what I heard from daycare! Much better then the candy choices and after a major root canal this mama wasn't in the mood for sugary treats for sweet little kiddos.
The weather has been beautiful here and we are soaking it up with walks, bike rides (the boys), spring cleaning (or maybe that's considered nesting :) and of course a trip or two to get ice cream.
Happy Valentines Day!
