grateful Saturday

I follow a blog and I have been inspired by her "stepping back and being grateful " posts. So in effort I am going to set one day a side to focus being grateful. So here we go.....

Dear weather,
My class got to take a virtual field trip up to bogus basin to measure the snow fall. I must say that I'm not quit ready for it down here in the valley. However, I am grate full that you provided me a teaching moment to all my kiddos.

Dear Wind,
Thank you for all the wind, Daddy picked Bridger some leaves off the ground and boy you should have seen his reaction. AMAZEMENT!!!!! Its wonderful to watch him experience new things in this world.

Dear Bridger,
Watching you today when daddy gave you that leaf was joy for momma. You bring such happiness to both daddy and I. Your curiosity for life inspires me. Thank you. Today while exploring the kitchen you pulled out the drawer and slammed your finger shut. There were tears and some crys but you were tough and started laughing after daddy and I kissed your fingers. You my son, are wonderful and I am grateful to be your mother.

Dear Lady who donated art supplies to my class,
You will never know how excited my students will be when I tell them that we are doing an art project because we have art supplies.  Their little eyes will light up and their toothless smiles will be from ear to ear. And when I tell them that we will make Christmas ornaments with your art supplies that you donated they will squeal with delight. I don't know you, never met you and yet your generosity will be spread through my students to their families. Today I am ever so grateful for your donation to my class.

Dear Ben,
soon you will read this and probably say silently in your head "o no what is she about to say" but today and everyday I am grateful to walk hand in hand with you through this journey in life. I am grateful for your ABC 's song you sing to our child to help him calm down and fall asleep. I am grateful for our drives on Saturday on  mornings to explore parts of Idaho and chat about our future together. I am grateful for your up all night moments with the baby. I am grateful for you.

(The Guncles stopped by to see Bridger tonight before they went to their Halloween party!!!)
