Vacation part10... Topeka

We took a drive out to Topeka, Kansas so that my Grandma Jane could meet her great-grandson.

Boy was she thrilled.

There was pure joy in her eyes when Bridger walked up to her and gave her a wonderful squeeze.

Ben hasn't had a chance to meet her either so it was great to introduce Ben to my dad's side of the family.

Grandma Jane gave Bridger a stuffed bunny and boy was he on cloud 9 with the bunny.

We heard about the bunny during the whole trip.

One thing that both the boys learned was how much Grandma Jane loves to try her luck at a scratch ticket.

Bridger even helped her a few times.

Next it was off to see Aunt Dorsey, Bridger's great Aunt.

She was FULL of energy to say the least. She was getting ready for the annual neighborhood olympics that she was hosting so we didn't stay too long, but Bridger chatted with her all about her flowers and her gardening, they even spotted a real bunny.

Such a memorable trip for all.

vacation part 9... College World Series Fan Fair

Friday we went to the fan fair festival for the CWS and boy was it windy.

These were the opening activites before the games got underway on Saturday.

Talk about a spectical.

We left with many "tradeshow" soviners as been would call it.

We played games, we walked, we danced, we ate, we sang, we had fun.

Bridger was probably the youngest contestnt that was playing all the baseball games but he sure had a lot fun. Even if we didn't quite follow all the rules.

We watched North Carolina warm up out on the beautiful field.

Bridger ran up and down the bleachers and chairs.

Memories for this youngster.

and memories for mom and dad.
We went to pizza afterwards and Bridger loved going from table to table, talking to the host and then coming back and chatting and then heading straight for the door.
In and out. Duster and Ben and Bridger sat on the porch for a little summer storm.
It was a great storm. Hard rain, lighting, thunder and it last for a very long time.
If you look closly you can see a sweet baby boy running up and down the rows having so much fun.

vacation part8... front porch, dinner and family

We have arrived home, back to Boise and happy to say we are relaxing, napping and blogging.

Back to blogging.....

There were many of nights spent on the front porch at Grammy's house.

She has beautiful porch that looks out front of the house and Bridger spent lots of time, watering the plants, playing in the yard, watching all the "puppies" walk by and have play dates with his new buddy Micheal who lives next door.

Midwest living at it's finest.

Of course what's not a vacation without some fine dinning and laughter around the table.

Kona Grill it was.

They had a beautiful fish tank and Bridger was mesmerized by it.

Uncle DD became Bridger buddy very quickly.

They played and played together and I not so sure who wore who out. I'm pretty sure Bridger wore uncle Dd out.

Put those two boys together and you get energy overload.

Since Uncle D.D. moved to his new house we showered him with a house warming gift. and Bridger got to help open it.

Success!

We sure had a lot of fun.

vacation part7... children's musem

Yesterday was jam packed with adventure.

Bridger got to experience the Children's Museum. This is where I use to go when I was little.

Let just say that he LOVED IT!

Our boy played, played and played.

They had a bug exhibit which was awesome. and daddy made the best honey combs ever. Until all the little kids came by and knocked them down.

Grammy took Bridge on the carousel, and he didn't want to get off.

Then it was onto the water exhibit, fire trucks, farm and slide area. There was so much to do.

Our little guy was worn out by the time we finished.

He had many conversation with lots of kids and even managed a time or two to let us know he was NOT ready to go home quite yet.
 Such a fun day!
