He did it and Grammy's Birthday

(first created on Tuesday night)

Our boy slept through the night last night. I did do a dream feed (one bottle)) versus three to four. But he did it. There was alittle fuss here and there but it was definitely the most sleep that I have gotten in the last nine months. We went to the dermatologist today and got some answers. Bridge does have eczema and has to be on a steroid prescribtion lotion for his cheeks. We also talked about other measures to take including a lotion rub down 7-10 times a day. There's no doubt we will have one soft little guy after that. Just finally glad we got some answers.

(today)
Bridge has done a great job sleeping through the night this week, but as of right now we are in the mist of trying to get him down, he is fighting it. Maybe it's because the vice-president debates are on and he wants to watch :)

Today is Grammy's birthday and what better way to celebrate then to going to Cancun, Mexico for her best friend's daughter's wedding!!! Grammy left on Monday and I can guarantee they are having a great time.
That's all for now, so glad tomorrow is Friday. We are ready for the weekend!

double ouch and my boys

Double ouch!

That's right Bridger is cutting his second bottom tooth.

We have had to take shifts this past weekend when it comes to sleeping because our boy is very fussy and is constantly chewing on anything he can get his hands on....literally.

Daddy took night shift and mommy took morning shift. So that mean that today was the first time that I took Bridger to church all by myself. Daddy got to sleep alittle longer since it was a rough night. Church with a baby .... hard work! Bridger was very interested in everything of course and we had a large family who had a lot of kids sitting in front of us. Every time they would turn around Bridger would talk right back to them and when I say talk back to them I mean he would loudly chat. I didn't want to shove a paci in his mouth but I also knew he wasn't crying or fussy so I tried my best to occupy him with different things in the diaper bag. This continued all the way through the homily and as soon as Father finished it was lights out for my boy. A bottle, some rocking, and mommy's arms and he was fast asleep. Thank you Lord.

It has been a great four day weekend with my boys. Daddy took us out for our family night to Flat Bread on Friday. Yum, love that place. Bridger was on "cruise control" the entire time (that's the term that the waiter gave him...love it.) He was so good, sat in his highchair, played and watched out the window as people walk by.

Saturday we went out to Marsing to visit some friends. We got to met Uncle Trent's lady friend and Jo - Trent's mom spent time loving on Bridge. We watched the first half of the BSU game and then came home to spend the rest of the day hanging out and watching football. I even got to make Elk Manicotti!!

Delicious.

Grandpa Parsons you will love this.....

Today was spent loving on my boys. Daddy and I watched "What To Expect When You Are Expecting" and Bridger took a nice long nap. I can't tell you the last time I watched movie. Sometimes it's just nice not to have a lot on the calendar.

Next week is a full week, Bridger has a dermatologist appointment on Tuesday and I am hoping to find out some answers as to what is causing the flare ups. We are going to try and go to the pumpkin patch and get our family pictures done too. LOVE FALL!!!

Happy 7 months baby bull calf

Our boy turned 7 months today!

So full of energy, life and now....... talking!

He is starting to say bababab, gagaga, da da da da ( could daddy be his first word????)

Today when I picked him up from school he was talking and telling a loud story to his teacher.

He didn't see me so he just kept going and going until he finally turned and
noticed me, then it was a loud squeal with delight when I picked him up.

Such a happy boy.

New nickname: Baby bull calf. I swear that he can hold his bottle but he likes to be fed like a baby bull calf. So that's how the name came about.

mama's boy

Bridger has reached the age and point where he is noticing every time mommy leaves the room. Especially this weekend when both dad and I are home. The daycare girls haven't said anything about it when I leave in the morning and he doesn't have any melt downs, he is actually very excited when he sees his teacher come to the door.
Bridger at school with his three friends. How cute are they?
But today in particular every time I walked out of the living room to go change the laundry he would melt down. I have a feeling that maybe he might just be a mama's boy ;)

We had a nice relaxing weekend! Much needed. I got up and braved a huge baby sale by MoppetTogs! I got some great deals on clothes for Bridger. He is now wearing 9 and some 12month clothes and as I was putting away his 3-6 month clothes I realized ahhh after 9 months we really don't have much. So I got up early waited in line for a little bit and scored a brand new jacket lots of pants and tops and a few jammies!

After the sale it was off to the other side of town to see family. We saw the cousins, even Bridger got to learn how to do make up by cousins Audrey and Natalie. Shhhhh.... don't tell daddy though - that's Audrey and Bridger's little secret. Meanwhile, daddy and Uncle Bill were cleaning the basil that Aunt Becky grew in the garden. Sure smelled good when we left. Next it was off to Grandma's where Bridger nap since he was so tired after a morning full of playing.

We finally got home around 4pm just in time for all the college football games. Nebraska won! Washington state lost but as Ben put it "at least it wasn't a total blowout." We were all very tired and even Bridger fell asleep around 6pm and slept pretty good till 7:45 this morning. There were a few times we got up but he was able to fall back asleep pretty well. I noticed this morning his cheeks are getting red again on the sides so it looks like I will be making a phone call to the doctor in the morning to see if we can get in with the allergist doctor. It doesn't seem to bother him or itch, but I just can't seem to pin point what exactly is triggering the episodes.
Daddy got caught snoozing
October 1st is tomorrow. Wow! It's hard to believe that on Tuesday Bridger will be 7 months old. My boy is growing so fast and each day I can't believe the milestones that he is reaching. He is so close to crawling I know that by the end of the month he will be there, I'm sure! I think he might be getting ready to cut another bottom tooth. He took alot of naps today and seemed a little extra fussy when I would rub his gums so I am wondering if that might be the culprit.

I have taken a few weekends and have been working on a Pintrest project that I came across about a month ago.

The four canvases of Bridger next to our engagement photo.
It is finally complete and I personally think that it turned out better then what I had expected.

Three canvases in Bridger's room.
Our house is filling up quickly with lots of pictures of our cute little guy and what better way to show case him then with a wonderful personalized project from mommy.
Close up

This upcoming week at work is a short week. We have Thursday and Friday off! Hmmm what to do, what to do. It's so nice having a few days off here and there during the week. I feel like I can get caught up on things and get re energized. I am going to register Bridger for swim lessons but haven't decided yet which day would work best with our schedules TBD! But he loves the water so I know this will be a great introduction once a week till summer comes back around.
Sitting in a resturant highchair and reading his book while playing with a straw.

That's all for now! Have a great week and enjoy the pictures.

OUCH

I've got some proof that Bridger boy is getting his first tooth. I could kind of see the white patch underneath his gum this weekend but there wasn't much else to tell that there was a little tooth about to sprout. But tonight when I got home and we were playing and he bit down on my chin and I nearly yelled when I said, OUCH! He is in great spirits though, a wee bit cranky at times but I did see on his school paper that he took a two hour nap plus an afternoon nap that lasted 40 minutes. Little guy must of been tired from all the work it takes to get a tooth in.

These next few pictures I gotta post just because they are so darn cute.

When daddy got home from elk hunting this past weekend he was REALLY dirty and needed to rinse off, so when I heard the shower running I quickly ran Bridger in because he needed a shower too after spiting up his bottle all over himself.

Now keep in mind Bridger has never had a shower before only baths and the closest he has ever been to a shower is when I put him in his bumbo while I quickly take a shower when daddy isn't home. Bridger loved every moment of the shower. When I tried to dry him off he screamed because he wanted to go back in, so we let him....spoiled YES!!! I quickly grabbed my camera because it's moments like these that are so sweet.

Love my boys.

UPDATE***They just coug'd it

o boy the Cougar's just lost and let me tell you it is not a pretty sight around this house right now. Poor hunny is so mad right now, good thing cute baby Bridger is here to help him get over it.

Go Coug's

Today we are celebrating the Cougar's great game!
We even busted out the jersey today just in time for daddy to see it when he came home from elk hunting!

We had a wonderful relaxing morning full of a whole lot of nothing. Bridger and I got dressed, headed out the door to do some window shopping at the mall. I enjoyed looking at all the new trends that are coming out this fall and Bridger enjoyed all the interaction that he got from the sales ladies too!

As I am typing this I just got to note that Bridger is sitting on daddy's lap farting a ton... Daddy just checked his diaper because the smell was horrendous! No poop though, just a good' ole boy fart.
